Brahmatal Trek

5 Days

Brahmatal is among the few Himalayan trekking destinations open in Winter –  December, January, February, and March. This trek has many pull factors, such as changing vistas of deep and shadowy oak and rhododendron forests to snow-covered meadows, lakeside camping at Bekaltal, the alpine Brahmatal lake vicinity, and a climactic vision of fabulous high peaks glittering across a brilliant sky! The Garhwal Himalaya alpine terrain view is all the more special from here because huge Himalaya mountain peaks like Mt. Nanda Ghunti and Mt. Trishul are rarely visible from such a low-lying trek.

The Brahmatal trek, dedicated to Lord Brahma, is another Himalayan jewel that has remained undiscovered by trekkers from all over the world. It is beautifully situated in the Himalayas and is blanketed in snow. The trail offers views of the centuries-old oak and rhododendron forest. Many Roopkund Trek sites can be seen while walking in the meadows beside Brahamatal Ridge. On a clear day, a view of the Garhwal Himalaya Mountains that can be seen will completely melt your heart.
